We are governed by a Board of five individuals who oversee grants, ensure transparency, and uphold our mission. Once 25,001 software node licenses are sold, the Board will expand to seven, with two seats nominated by the Know Freedom community.

The Know Freedom Foundation is guided by a dedicated Board of Advisors—leaders, innovators, and change-makers who offer strategic insight and lived experience. While they hold no formal governance power, their guidance shapes our direction, expands our impact, and keeps us grounded in community needs.

The Know Freedom Foundation operates under the financial and legal oversight of our fiscal sponsor, who ensures that all donations, grants, and expenditures are handled with full transparency and compliance.
